DesAnn, Thanks so much for your comments on my staging blog post. I'm sorry you are disappointed in my opinion.
But, I'm a little confused. I felt my post was more about how Sellers and traditional real estate agents/brokers are dealing with the increased popularity of staging. I don't think I ever mentioned anything negative about professional Stagers in my blog post. A direct line from my blog "There is nothing wrong with staging homes".

As staging becomes even more popular the number of SELLERS (not professional stagers) trying to hide major items that should have been disclosed will increase.

Your own comments above bring up the fact that Sellers and Stagers are having conversations about covering up problems. "I never ever ask my seller to cover up problems. As a matter of fact I advise my sellers to just the opposite."

If you are advising your clients on not covering up problems. Then either you and your Seller clients have initiated a discussion on this topic. Why is it so hard for you to not think that some Sellers and even possibly Stagers could be dishonest or unethical?

Yes, I've seen specific examples of staging that appeared to be hiding issues that should have been disclosed.

No, I am not trying to deliberately drive traffic to my blog or raise my subscription numbers. I'm not an SEO expert. But, if I just wanted to falsely increase my blog numbers then I would do blog articles on Paris Hilton, President Obama, sex, etc.

I take my blog and career as an Exclusive Buyer Broker very serious.

Again, thank you for your comments.

How sad and presumptuious of you to think we professional Stagers would EVER cover-up problems!
I NEVER EVER ask my seller to cover-up problems. As a matter of fact I advise my sellers to do just the opposite!
We want to EARN the buyer's trust.
I am very disappointed in your view. Were you ever in a staged home that had actually done this or was this a deliberate way for you to get traffic to your blog?
PLEASE do not lump all of us PROFESSIONAL Stagers into one assumption!
